Triangle
Triangle, VA 22172, is a community spanning 2.6 square miles in Prince William County. Triangle is bounded to the south by the Marine Corps Base Quantico, with the Town of Dumfries less than 2 miles to the north. Triangle is approximately 32 miles south-west of downtown Washington, DC, and is home to more than 3,000 households with a population of over 8,000 residents at the time of the 2010 United States Census.
Public schools include Triangle Elementary School serving grades PK-5, and Graham Park Middle School serving grades 6-8. Grades 9-12 are served by Potomac High School in Dumfries, 4 miles north. The privately run Calvary Christian School is also located in Triangle, and serves grades PK-12. The PRTC operates two bus services which transit through Triangle, both of which link with northern routes through to DC. The Dumfries OmniLink route (DF-L) runs from The Lofts at Little Creek through to the PRTC Transit Center at Potomac Mills. The Route 1 OmniLink runs from Quantico VRE station, 3.3 miles south-east of Triangle, through to Woodbridge VRE station.
